Export Sales Highlights

 

зерно - важный экспортный товарWheat:  Net sales of 262,400 metric tons for 2019/2020 were down 34 percent from the previous week and 31 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Mexico (91,100 MT, including decreases of 200 MT), Japan (38,600 MT, including 500 MT late reporting), Brazil (32,200 MT, including 30,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Malaysia (26,000 MT), and the Dominican Republic (22,200 MT, including 7,100 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 400 MT), were partially offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (36,100 MT).  Exports of 497,700 MT were down 3 percent from the previous week and 4 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destinations were primarily to the Philippines (187,400 MT), Japan (77,300 MT, including 500 MT late reporting), Mexico (66,300 MT), Nigeria (44,700 MT), and Brazil (32,200 MT). 

Corn:  Net sales of 491,500 metric tons for 2019/2020 were up 33 percent from the previous week and 15 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Mexico (347,400 MT, including decreases of 10,300 MT), Colombia (99,900 MT, including 80,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,500 MT), Japan (89,100 MT, including 39,100 MT switched from unknown destinations), Costa Rica (31,600 MT, switched from unknown destinations), and Honduras (16,600 MT, including 4,000 MT switched from El Salvador, 3,000 MT switched from Nicaragua, 1,600 MT switched from Costa Rica, and decreases of 500 MT), were partially offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (108,000 MT).  For 2020/2021, total net sales of 91,400 MT were for Mexico.  Exports of 489,000 MT were down 12 percent from the previous week, but up 11 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destinations were primarily to Mexico (209,400 MT), Colombia (175,500 MT), Japan (39,100 MT), Costa Rica (33,200 MT), and Honduras (14,800 MT). 

Optional Origin Sales:  For 2019/2020, new optional origin sales of 5,300 MT were reported for South Korea.  The current outstanding balance of 575,300 MT is for South Korea (395,300 MT), Israel (120,000 MT), and Egypt (60,000 MT). 

Barley:  No net sales for 2019/2020 were reported for the week.  Exports of 900 MT were down 23 percent from the previous week and 26 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destination was Japan. 

Sorghum:  Net sales reductions of 800 MT for 2019/2020 were down noticeably from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Mexico (1,100 MT), were more than offset by reductions for unknown destinations (2,000 MT).  Exports of 2,100 MT were up noticeably from the previous week, but down 31 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destinations were to Mexico (2,000 MT) and South Korea (100 MT).  

Rice:  Net sales of 84,100 MT for 2019/2020 were up 61 percent from the previous week and 44 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for Haiti (14,600 MT), Japan (13,400 MT), Taiwan (12,200 MT), Mexico (11,400 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), and South Korea (11,000 MT).  Exports of 26,200 MT were down 31 percent from the previous week and 62 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destinations were primarily to Saudi Arabia (9,900 MT), Honduras (8,600 MT), Canada (2,700 MT), Mexico (1,400 MT), and Japan (1,300 MT).  

Exports for Own Account:  For 2019/2020, the current exports for own account outstanding balance is 200 MT, all Canada. 

Soybeans:  Net sales of 475,200 metric tons for 2019/2020 were down 70 percent from the previous week and 72 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Pakistan (193,600 MT, including 127,700 MT switched from unknown destinations), the Netherlands (142,200 MT, including 129,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases 1,500 MT), Mexico (124,500 MT, including 47,500 MT switched from unknown destination and decreases of 3,200 MT), Thailand (98,900 MT, including 68,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Taiwan (81,400 MT, including 50,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,900 MT), were partially offset by reductions for unknown destinations (583,900 MT).  Exports of 1,382,900 MT were up 45 percent from the previous week and 43 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The destinations were primarily to Egypt (203,200 MT), Thailand (182,300 MT), Mexico (175,100 MT), the Netherlands (142,200 MT), and Taiwan (141,800 MT).  

Exports for Own Account:  For 2019/2020, the current exports for own account outstanding balance is 2,100 MT, all Canada. 

Soybean Cake and Meal:  Net sales of 110,400 MT for the 2019/2020, primarily for Vietnam (53,300 MT, including 50,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (28,200 MT, including decreases of 400 MT), Mexico (16,800 MT), Morocco (15,000 MT), and Burma (14,800 MT), were partially offset by reductions primarily for unknown destinations (41,000 MT), Belgium (3,700 MT), and Guatemala (2,300 MT).  For 2020/2021, total net sales reductions of 300 MT were for Canada.  Exports of 263,300 MT were primarily to the Philippines (54,800 MT), Vietnam (53,300 MT), Mexico (50,500 MT), Ecuador (30,300 MT), and Canada (21,600 MT). 

Soybean Oil:  Net sales of 3,300 MT for 2019/2020 were for Colombia (2,500 MT) and Mexico (800 MT).  Exports of 32,400 MT were primarily to South Korea (30,600 MT), Mexico (1,500 MT), and Canada (100 MT).  

Cotton:  Net sales of 140,500 RB for 2019/2020 were down 32 percent from the previous week and 23 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases primarily for Vietnam (45,900 RB, including 1,200 RB switched from Japan), Pakistan (44,000 RB, including decreases of 2,900 RB), Turkey (11,700 RB), Indonesia (8,200 RB, including 300 RB switched from China), and Thailand (8,000 RB), were partially offset by reductions for Japan (300 RB) and Mexico (100 RB).  For 2020/2021, net sales of 8,400 RB were primarily for Pakistan (5,300 RB) and Guatemala (2,100 RB).  Exports of 148,600 RB were down 2 percent from the previous week and 6 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Exports were primarily to Vietnam (44,800 RB), Mexico (16,300 RB), South Korea (13,700 RB), China (13,400 RB), and Pakistan (12,200 RB).  Net sales of Pima totaling 7,000 RB were up 53 percent from the previous week, but down 1 percent from the prior 4-week average.  Increases were primarily for China (2,200 RB), India (1,800 RB, including decreases of 100 RB), Pakistan (1,600 RB, including decreases of 300 RB), and Bangladesh (1,000 RB, including 100 RB switched from Switzerland).  Exports of 11,100 RB were up 85 percent from the previous week and 39 percent from the prior 4-week average.  The primary destinations were India (6,100 RB), Pakistan (1,500 RB), Thailand (900 RB), Turkey (800 RB), and Bangladesh (800 RB).
